Our Current Shelter
The Pura Vida Foundation provide’s safe housing and life skill training for young women in Peru. The facility provides these girls with necessary life skills which foster confidence to thrive independently. The foundation was created as a response to inequality, abuse, and poverty experienced by these young women in their home country.

This approach to empowerment is key to developing self-sufficiency within these young women. Our focus is on each girl’s individual needs, both immediate and long term. Through the foundation, we are able to provide each girl with safe housing, rehabilitation, personal development, community involvement, leisure activities, and most important a safe, family environment.
