Since 2009 The Pura Vida Foundation has been bringing christmas to some of the most impoverished communities in Peru.  We know giving a small gift, clothes, and food isn’t a solution to poverty.  But our hopes are that these amazing children feel appreciated and special during a time that most of us around the world take for granted.  It is amazing for us to see how such a little act of kindness can make such a difference.  Each year The Pura Vida Foundation gives more than 500 kids a small gift, clothes, and food.  We also visit 3 different orphanages located in the city of Cusco, and give over 80 kids and 20 young single mothers christmas presents.
