In May 2013 The Pura Vida Foundation was able to purchase a 3,660 square meter piece of land in a rural community 2 hours from Cusco, Peru.  This new facility will be able to house and rehabilitate up to 50 kids at any given time.  We are also planning on using this new facility to help more than 20 Andean communities, by providing them with numerous social services.  A part from housing and saving sexually exploited and abused young girls, we hope to use this facility to put on numerous work shops.  Such as monthly dentistry and metal health work shops, using the facility to perform hair lip surgeries.  We also want to use the new facility for locals to be able to come and talk to our staff about alcoholism, abuse in the house hold, and environmental topics.
